SKUs
Definition
SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is the base unit to manage stock. It has generally a single and unique SKU code, as well as a unique barcode.
PRODUCT VS SKU
SKU could be the product itself in most of business cases, but:
- SKU could be commercial variants of a product (ex: size S, color Black of MYTSHIRT, 128G version of MYPHONE)
- SKU could be logistics variants of a product (ex: different packaging, supplier, pcs/box, ...)
KITS OR SETS
SKUs can be themselves composed of several other SKUs (for kitting or commercial sets served on stocks). For example, SKU MYSET is composed of:
- Hand cream 100mL
- Lotion 200mL
- Night cream 50mL

Mandatory fields

| Translated name | SKU name in a secondary language |
| EAN | Code used as barcode for this SKU |
| Supplier | Supplier for this SKU. Note: this data is used when calculating replenishment sugesstion |
| HS code | Harmonized System code: 6 digits code used for Customs |
| Fragile | Whether the product is considered as fragile in terms of transportation. Can be used as a criteria for transportation service selection |
| Qty / box | Number of pieces in a standard box |
| Box gross weight | Gross weight of a standard box (incl. empty box weight) |
| Net weight | Net weight of a unit (excl. packaging weight) |
| Gross weight | Gross weight of a unit (incl. packaging weight) |
| Weight unit | Unit of Measure for weights (metric units only) |
| Dimensions (LxWxH) | Gross weight of a unit (incl. packaging weight) |
| Dimensions unit | Unit of Measure for dimensions (metric units only) |
| Volume (cbm) | Volume of a unit, in cubic meters. Autocalculated from dimensions if not provided. Can be used as a criteria for transportation service selection |

| MOQ | Minimum order quantity, as a constraint from the supplier. Used for replenishment suggestion |
| Boxes per layer | Number of boxes per pallet layer, in a standard palletization |
| Layer per pallet | Number of layer per pallets, in a standard palletization |
